Xavier is a film director recognized for his work across both narrative and commercial disciplines.

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and raised in Miami, Florida, Xavier was brought up amongst visually stunning landscapes and his drive to explore them gave birth to an interest in photography in his youth. That pursuit would come to serve as the precursor for his transition into film.

Xavier’s work is most commonly associated with his particularly adept eye for beauty. He communicates visually through an immaculate utilization of cinematography and art direction. While, emotionally, he engages in poignant character exploration.

Xavier's first feature, CHRONICALLY METROPOLITAN,  was nominated for Best Picture at the 2016 Woodstock Film Festival. The film was picked up for distribution by Universal Studios and features a stellar cast including Shiloh Fernandez, Ashley Benson, Mary-Louise Parker, Chris Noth, Josh Peck, and Addison Timlin. He is currently working on his second feature film, WHO INVITED CHARLIE? starring  Jordana Brewster, Adam Pally, & Reid Scott.  

Prior to directing his own feature films, Xavier spent eight years working with his mentor, David Frankel, and was involved with projects like THE BIG YEAR, HOPE SPRINGS, and COLLATERAL BEAUTY.  Xavier is actively working on unique film and commercial projects.
